Cookie Policy
A short, jargon-light explanation of the cookies this site sets, why they exist, and how to change your mind at any time.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to remember between visits. Most websites use them. The ones on this site fall into two buckets - essential, which we need for the site to work, and optional, which we ask for permission before setting.
Essential cookies
- PHPSESSID - the session token that keeps your booking form CSRF-safe and remembers your form data if you have to refresh. Cleared when you close the browser.
- xn_lash_consent_v1 - a local storage entry that remembers your cookie choice so we do not show you the consent panel on every page. Set only after you make a choice.
Optional cookies
If you accept all cookies through the consent panel, we set a single anonymised analytics cookie that helps us see which service pages are most useful. We do not use Google Analytics or any tool that tracks you across other websites - the analytics we run is a self-hosted, privacy-respecting tool that throws away IP addresses after the request.
Third-party cookies
Outside the consent we ask for, we do not embed third-party trackers, Facebook pixels, or advertising cookies. We do load Google Fonts for typography, which sets a short-lived font-cache cookie at the Google CDN; if you object to this, install a font-blocker extension and the site will fall back to a system font.
Changing your mind
You can re-open the consent panel at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Choosing "Essential only" clears any optional cookie we have set in your current browser within five seconds.
Browser-level control
If you would rather control cookies at the browser level, most browsers let you block them entirely or wipe them on every close. The aboutcookies.org reference has clear guides for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
